Master in fashion photography II
The Master in Fashion Photography II addresses to those who have finished the Master in Fashion Photography I, or who have already a proven experience in the sector of fashion photography. Compared to the previous one, the Master in Fashion Photography II introduces the professional figure of the Stylist, who is responsible for the choice of the articles of clothing, explains the different aspects of a dress and has a bigger control on the positioning of the article itself and on the way it shows its particular photographic and creative style. Moreover, Master II aims at analyzing different periods of fashion photography, re-examining them in a modern way and under different profiles that are technical and pertaining to content. For this reason, the light schemes will be more complex, and they will involve for the first time the use of true sets, taken on purpose from Crazy-Art, one of the most important rental studies in Milan.
Models too will be of a higher aesthetic-professional level and most of them will be the "Top of the sector".
The lessons will take place on Sunday, for a total of ten Sundays, with a fixed timetable from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sensitive materials and the developer will always be paid by the student. However, every lesson will be tested before the click with the Polaroid.
During Master II we will work also with a new make-up artist who, compared to Master I, will be responsible also for hairstyle. This to accustom students to the presence of a double professional figure "Hair + Make-up" and to control in a more accurate way all the morphologic and aesthetic parameters of the face, as well as the effect that you can obtain acting both on make-up and hairstyle.
Programme of the course:
Nine practices and one practice of projection and preparation of the Book.

Fashion photography re-examined through its main historical periods:
During these lessons, the student will perform a series of views divided into the historical periods of fashion photography. Every practical lesson is divided into two different view sets. In a first set, we will shoot a scene with dresses, lights, make-up and styling original of that period. Then, he will deal again with the same subject but with modern light schemes, dresses of present stylists (that obviously remind of that period), current make-up and styling to "reinterpret" in a modern way a past concept of fashion photography. This aspect is very important, because most of the fashion magazines ask the professional man exactly for photographic creations with precise stylistic and historic references and often, if you do not know exactly the models or the techniques to use, it is difficult to face these themes successfully even though you have a good experience. - Fashion photography during the 40s

Fashion photography using staging:
The complex fashion photography, or simply the advertising photography, where you have to take into consideration also the lighting of a set or the way a certain detail is given, as well as the human control which is not easy, is a photo that can be considered as a "Mix", where the problems typical of Still Life and Fashion are lived simultaneously. In fact, you must learn to control several spots, manage perspective plans, know the materials and create a true complete setting. - Setting and problems concerning light I
